Wow! Tammie Dolny is a sixteen year old striker hired by the Star to write about her views and experiences. I read the comments on her article today and while she was deservedly taken to task by a number of people there were others who were plain vicious like the political nutcase bloggers who proliferate this internet thingy.

On the strike, I find it ironic that the people busting their humps to provide a modicum of service to the public are the ones who had their wages frozen by City Killer Miller and his clown council.

Here in sweet smelling Etobicoke, I wonder how much the city is actually saving in salaries, etc that can be used to help with the big red hole the city's finances are in.

McGuinty has a lot to answer for by changing the council terms from 3 to 4 years. Because unfortunately the voters tend to have a short attention span and memory and will likely reelect most the the assholes on council.

I think tomorrow I will phone a see how many councilors are actually working and if the rest are still collecting their pay.
