Saw Chubby Checker Saturday night. Good show with lots of audience participation. Lots of old farts male and female dancing and singing away, which was good because he was never a great singer and has lost some steps.

I think what made the twist such an all time favorite was the fact that guys could do it easily. Didn't have to learn any steps nor was there any girly hand fluttering stuff to go along with it like other dances of the time just a straight out comfortable dance move you could do drunk of sober. And the tunes for Twist and Twist again were very catchy for a dance.
