Imagine, Canada Day celebrations have been cancelled in Canada's biggest city. That traitorous gang of fuckups at the city should be hanged.

Damn rain - I was looking forward to ribfest at Centennial and S'aida at Nathan Philips Square. Might have enthusiasm slightly dampened.

Really good show at Fallsview last night - Tim Conway, Chuck McCann, and Louise Duart (who is exceptionally good at impressions). Fun stand up and hilarious sketches.
In the men's room at the casino heard the song 'Beat It' and thought now I know what it really means, then heard that Michael Jackson had died - how erie.

Toronto has a snitch hotline for illegal garbage dumping so I called and reported that city killer Miller and his clown council had dumped a load of crap all over the taxpayers but they wouldn't take my information.

Hey Toronto, a few years back in the 90's a smart mayor with a competent council decided to contract out garbage collection both saving money and improving efficiency while avoiding a chance of a garbage strike. While it was unfortunate that Etobicoke was amalgamated into the megamonstrosity it retained private collection over the whines and complaints and downright lies of the city unions and that's why Toronto stinks and Etobicoke doesn't.
Many other services should be contracted out including our current mayor and his clown council.

What an interesting US Open. Lefty almost made it, Duval had a great story, an unknown wins, and Weir tanks it as usual.
So Toronto' so called workers are on strike. Heard a city employee on the radio bemoaning the fact that last year some workers (TTC, cops) got 3% increases. What year is she living in and is she capable of reading the paper or understanding the news. There are a hell of a lot of city taxpayers who would like a job let alone some absurd increase from a city that is broke.
Note to city: when Chicago workers wouldn't work with the city to curb costs, 1500 layoff notices and more to come. Same in several other cities. Maybe we should be looking at that here.

Haroon Sidiqui continues to be a reverse-racist senile old tool.
First day of summer? Lets all bbq.
Happy Father's Day to all dads.

Imagine that, Mike Weir is leading the US Open - that'll last a few hours.
Just saw Adam Gibrone and Laurel 'Big Garage' Broten doing interviews on a streetcar - what a waste of time and airspace. By the way, where is city killer Miller going to get the rest of the money for these new streetcars? Jerkoff!

Royson James makes absolutely no sense in his column today - I thought I was reading old Haroon.
If we have a civic employees strike in Toronto and garbage is a problem, just drop it off at a striker's house and if your daycare is closed you can drop your kids off as well.
Maybe Brian Burke and city killer Miller could switch jobs. Both organizations have been run into the ground but Burke would have better chance to turn Toronto around while the Leafs wouldn't notice any difference in screwed up management.

This ehealth affair is just like the Pickering fiasco except it was fucking yankee consultants and their pals who made off with billions of taxpayers dollars then. What the hell kind of a 'communications strategy' requires $300 and some bucks an hour? Was it one to explain to the taxpaying public why they should smile while this band of overpriced dolts screw them.
The Toronto clown council wants the taxpayers to pick up the tab if their feelings have been hurt and they want to sue someone. While this disgusting little piece of Iranian democracy should have everyone up it arms it doesn't really matter because the city is functionally broke and won't be able to afford to pay it anyway.

Well lots happening I suppose.
Bob Rae couldn't get into to Sri Lanka but how could he get back into Canada?
John Baird tells Toronto to fuck off - I say that everyday to city killer Miller and his clown council.
Human Rights Commission might work if it didn't have a failed Toronto mayor running it. How do these losers get appointed really?
Iggy seems to be smart enough not to trigger an election. Too bad it lets moustache Jack and hairnet Gilles seem all manly and brave - fuck em all.
Blues Brothers still put on a good show - kudos to Donnie Walsh.
