MSM Afstan

Christie Blatchford really nailed the moronic MSM and their coverage of our troops in Afstan. I don't know how the editors can sleep at night or maybe they're to busy doing each other.

Quebec

The Liberal old Iggy and the Quebec Liberal wing have stirred things up with a 'Nation' resolution and now everyone seems to be 'the sky is falling' about the separatists.
My solution is to give the Separatists Newfoundland and give the Newfoundlanders Quebec and then stop giving them pogey - solves two problems.

Cherniak

I occasionally browse through a number of bloggers - one of them being a young Liberal lawyer named Cherniak who is supporting the non-English speaking no-hoper Stephane Dion.
The Liberals, in their usual elitist style, have pegged their convention fee for delegates at about a grand. Young Cherniak in his blog is asking for donations to enable him to attend the convention.
Is this not typical - a Liberal and a lawyer with his hands in someone else's pocket?

Cancer

Cancer is a vicious evil being. It makes the current parliamentary "dog" nonsense really look pathetic - and it makes our elected representatives look like real fucking assholes. Why do they get elected over and over again. Is it collective stupidity?

Garth

So the Ontario caucus voted Turner out and the National agreed. Can't those dougheads take a joke. Or maybe Turner was doing what an MP should do even with all the drama queen stuff.

Doesn't look good on the Tories.

AIDS Funding

Seems to be a lot of complaining now about the government not funding national and international AIDS as speedily as was expected nor in a guaranteed amount. While there is certainly merit in this undertaking, there are many competing priorities such as cancer research, heart disease, diabetes, or my concern alzheimers, etc.
While Stephen Lewis does excellent work, he is a one trick pony and he and the AIDS establishment do not have any more of a god given right to our tax dollars than any of the above.

Caledonia

There seems to considerable reportage from some MSM that the proposed march today is not helpful or useful and may be dangerous.
Perhaps if it leads to discussion about the natives dual citizenship and some accountability for the billions of tax dollars given them each year then march on.

Shopping

What the hell is wrong with stores these days? Can they not hire sales staff that understand common courtesy, such as please and thank you, let alone any kind of customer service.

Why should I patronize a store where the cashier can barely make herself acknowledge you, hands you a visa slip to sign without a word, finishes the sale, and maybe will hand you your purchase?

Who trains these people - brain dead morons? Or is it some vast zombie conspiracy to take over the world starting with Wal-Mart et al?

Is there a reason that the only fast friendly service is found at the Beer Store?

Toronto Mayor

Who in their right friggin' mind would vote for Stephen Ledrew?

Governing

I would like to hear a really good reason from parties on why they want to govern. The Liberal bloggers give the impression it is their God-given right to exercise power. The Tories, at least federally, had some idea of why there should be a change in government other than the mess that the Martin government had made. Provincally it seems to be same old same old.

Thanksgiving

As we celebrate Thanksgiving, I reflect on how lucky we are in this country and I hope we don't screw it up.
I hope that politically correct assholes in government don't continue to give the country back to the Indians, let the Muslims take over, let the criminals control everything, or let the Quebec tail wag the dog.
I hope that politeness, helpfulness, neighbourliness, and caring continue to define our country - Toronto excepted.

Jaballah

A news article in the Star today talks about a bail hearing for Mahmoud Jaballah being held on a security certicate.
Why haven't we sent him back to Egypt after five years - what kind of a stupid process is this? Why are our tax dollars going to keep his family on welfare?

Looking at the picture of his wife - in this country if you wear a mask at other than Halloween you're either a skier or a bandit.

Blog Comments

Something I've noticed in blog comments is that the far left wingers are the most vulgar, vicious, and rude. I have no idea why that is.

Religion and then Court Challenges Program

We see on the news these dirt-eating demented dolts screaming for the murder of the infidels whenever they feel Islam has been insulted and we think what complete assholes they are. But what about Pat Robertson calling for the murder of Hugo Chavez? Religion is not the problem but certainly some of the so-called practitioners are. I hope there is a nice spot in hell for all of these hypcritical horses asses.

Seems to be a great hue and cry from some quarters about the Federal goverment cutting funding to the Court Challenges Program. If it is such a wonderful program, why don't the law societies fund the program. Oh, that would mean reaching into their own pockets, wouldn't it?

Liberal Leadership Race

I just read a blog by Calgary Grit who was talking about an exciting CLEAN race. Has he never heard of Joe Volpe?
